Under-Stairs Storage Unit

Dulux Trade Satinwood — Duck Egg Blue

A newly fitted MDF under-stairs storage unit with bespoke shaker-style panelled doors needed a full paint finish from bare wood. We applied a primer coat to all MDF surfaces, then two coats of Dulux Trade Satinwood in a soft duck egg blue — cutting in all the panel detail and shadow lines by hand for a crisp, furniture-quality finish. The staircase risers were painted to match, tying the whole hallway together.

Geometric Diamond Feature Wall

Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt — Brushed Gold

The client wanted a bold geometric feature wall using timber battens fixed in a large diamond pattern across the full width of the bedroom. We primed all the new battens, then applied Dulux Heritage Brushed Gold in Velvet Matt across the entire wall — battens and background painted as one continuous colour-drenched surface. The transformation from plain plaster to a rich, textured statement wall is dramatic.

Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt — Ravens Flight

A large lounge feature wall with a mix of rectangular and square timber panels was painted in Dulux Heritage Ravens Flight — a deep, dramatic near-black with a subtle blue-grey undertone. The entire wall including all battens, panels and the background was colour drenched in one consistent finish. The result is a bold, gallery-style statement wall that anchors the whole room.

Industrial Corrugated Steel Ceiling — Airless Spray

Zinsser AllCoat — Anthracite

A large commercial conversion with a corrugated steel roof structure and exposed steel RSJ beams required painting in anthracite. Due to the complex corrugated profile, brush and roller application was not practical — we used an airless spray system to apply two full coats of Zinsser AllCoat, achieving complete and even coverage across every ridge and valley of the steel. All walls, windows and floors were fully masked before spraying.

Farrow & Ball Estate Eggshell — Sage Green & Mole's Breath

The client wanted to completely transform their kitchen without replacing the units. We stripped back the existing cream finish, prepared all door and drawer fronts, and applied two coats of Farrow & Ball Estate Eggshell — sage green on the upper cabinets and Mole's Breath on the lower units for a two-tone contemporary look. The result is a completely transformed kitchen at a fraction of the cost of new units.

A newly plastered master bedroom in a period property required a full paint finish. The client chose Farrow & Ball Mizzle — a sophisticated sage green — for all four walls. We mist-coated the new plaster, applied two full coats of Mizzle and finished all doors, frames, skirting and the ornate ceiling rose in brilliant white. The before shots show the raw plaster state; the after shots show the calm, elegant result.

Dulux Trade Weathershield Smooth Masonry — Pure Brilliant White

A rendered semi-detached house with tired, stained masonry needed a full exterior repaint. We cleaned down all surfaces, treated any mould, filled cracks and applied two coats of Dulux Trade Weathershield Smooth Masonry in Pure Brilliant White. Window sills were finished in a contrasting dark tone for a clean, contemporary result. The house looks completely transformed.

Rendered walls and painted render window surrounds were looking tired and stained. We cleaned down all surfaces, applied a stabilising primer and finished with two coats of Dulux Trade Weathershield in Rock Salt — a soft off-white that complements the existing brickwork. Window sills and the plinth were finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey for a clean, modern contrast.

Dulux Trade Supermatt — White

A full loft conversion with new plaster throughout required careful preparation before any finish coat could be applied. We mist-coated all new plaster with a diluted Dulux Trade Supermatt, allowed full drying time, then applied two full coats to all walls and ceilings. All new woodwork — doors, frames, skirting and architrave — was primed and finished in Dulux Trade Satinwood.

The client's hallway and staircase had been painted in a dark grey and needed a complete refresh. We filled all holes and cracks, sugar-soaped all surfaces and applied Farrow & Ball Shaded White throughout — a warm, chalky off-white that makes the space feel light and airy. All woodwork including the staircase balustrade, newel posts, skirting and doors was finished in Farrow & Ball All White in full gloss.
